Distance Learning Overview
Distance Learning Plan 2020-2021
When can students return to school?
On 8.13.2020, Dr. Wooten, Director of San Diego Public Health, shared that the County had two consecutive days of a lower than 100/100,000 case rate. This is good news. The following information removes San Diego County from the State monitoring list and would allow us to re-open for in-person instruction.
1. The County must have normal data for the State's "Six Metrics" for 3 days to be removed from the State's County Monitoring List.
2. Once the County is officially off the list, the County must wait 14 consecutive days before schools are able to open for in-person instruction.
3. The Santee School District is planning on giving parents at least 14 day’s notice so they can prepare for the am/pm school schedule.
